Welcome to One Christian Thought!

It doesn't matter what I believe. It only matters what I can prove. It is 7:15 P.M. as I write this on New Year's eve, 2020. I have managed, it looks like, to meet my goal of completely finishing this blog, publishing everything I want on it, before New Year and school starts. This blog started in January, and I have exhausted my knowledge by now. Funny how God planned it that way. I want to thank my three followers for deciding to be so, and everyone who has commented on this blog. Out of all the nine comments so far, 5 were from me, 4 responding to somebody. I haven't had much interaction on this blog at all. Considering how long things get, and lack of a good amount of interested people to share it with, that's not surprising. I have tried to keep some things short, like the handout argument for the resurrection , suggested reading plan of the big resurrection argument, and pointing out quick posts in titles, but really this blog took the form of me to get all my th...

I'm Back! But School's Starting...

Hello again! The first 16 days of April, right after my last post of March (which is now an out-dated announcement so don't let the title get you), was spent reading. Just two books, unfortunately, but one was much longer than the other one and I found it challenging to read. But still, I have enough material for at least three projects, one of which I am working on now, and another which can be determined by finding a hint here  and then going to where it points (so cheers to you if you figure out what it's about!). However, a monkey wrench has been thrown into my schedule: class, starting tomorrow on Monday. If you can recall my last announcement, the reason I stopped writing when I had planned to every week was because I didn't get the time to really sit down and focus on an academic-minded project outside of my actual academy. But fortunately, I have already written an outline for my current Blog Project, and so should be able to complete the last three parts in a...

ANNOUNCEMENT! Please read. Thanks :)

I am all worn out. Publishing one blog post every two days, jumping from subject to subject, has drained me of both my knowledge and my motive. Back in " About this Blog ," I called it a reasonable goal to publish one post every Monday. But if you haven't noticed, there is a time gap of over a month in my writings starting February 2nd, of 48 days. The reason being? I realized, with school plus life, I didn't have as much time to think about these other really important issues and break them down in an argument. But thankfully, I got a two weeks break from school, which has become really like five weeks because of this COVID-19 business (look to God, world, this life is not the end). So I made up for all my lost time with 8 posts in 15 days . Granted, one was basically just quickly explaining a link to a school project, but still seven is a lot in that amount of time, at least for me. Now my plan is to take a break. I needed to share my Christian thoughts with t...

About this Blog

Greetings and welcome to my blog! I am a Christian , specifically a Protestant. I have believed in Jesus for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until my early teenage years, though, that I really begin to ask questions about my faith. And now, after years of study, I own 67 books on multiple subjects, such as belief in Jesus by reasoning from historical argument, understanding (and answering) other religions, and explaining apparent tension between verses in the Bible. I am not an official person of any kind. I have received no formal theological training, attended seminary, or even graduated a college. But what I do have is 215 Bible verses memorized and expert credible resources (I only use books by authors who have attended school to know what they are talking about). As a Christian, I believe that I should "...be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks [me] to give the reason for the hope that [I] have. But [I should] do so with gentleness and respect....
